Port Dickson Trip

After finished my final exam, my gf and I went to Port Dickson for holiday. We stayed in Corus Paradise, which is suppose to be very nice (That's if you are staying in their hotel room). However, the apartment sucks to the max. But due to the fact that the apartment is free, I got to bear with the sucky apartment.

But the view outside the aparment is not bad.

And well... Port Dickson is quite a boring place... there is beach.. and only beach. Nothing else. The food are not much to brag about. Even the famous Lucky Restaurant's Curry Bun is not selling on that day. So no photo about foods. :P

So, since nothing to do, we went to Bayu Beach which is slightly inside to Port Dickson, located at Batu 8.

There is one so called couple bridge near to Bayu Beach, and I've went there once. But who the hell will know that it is closed... freaking pissed when I saw the sign "Jambatan Rosak". Yikes... if Port Dickson is not that near to my hometown Seremban, for hell I will not come here.

After slacking in home for 2 months plus... at last I got an offer from Huawei. I've accepted in and going to start working on 4th August 2008.

Woot... no more nagging from parents dy.... Things starting to get busy now... have to go up to Kuala Lumpur and start searching for rooms already.

Nadeje Patisserie

I first saw this shop from Jason's blog, and decided to go for a try. The shop is located at Plaza Mahkota, which is near to Mahkota Parade and Newton hawker center.

Just like Jason mentioned, Nadeje Patisserie only sells various flavors of mille crepe and drinks. No other food! So if you are planning to have a good meal, this ain't the place for you.

The environment and lightning inside is not bad. There are sofas if you want to sit on something soft rather than chairs. The only thing is their music. The music that they keep on playing sounds funny to me. It was like playing the same song over and over again but in different languages.

I ordered 2 pieces of Mille Crepe. One which is original and the other one is Chocolate flavor.

The original flavor more towards creamy type. But the cream is not too sweet, just at the right spot. The layers give a sense of unique feel when you bite it. A must try for cake lovers.

The chocolate flavor is quite similar to original. But its cover with a slight... and it is a very slight taste of chocolate.

Overall the cake is quite good. For me, I will be going back for a second try.

Canon The World Of EOS Roadshow

So, on 1st of June I went to KLCC to attend Canon The World of EOS Roadshow. This roadshow is to promote their new entry DSLR Canon 450D which hao is so proud of. Other than that they are exhibiting Canon 600mm L lens. OMG... attached with 1DMarkIII. It makes me feel like my 400D is a puny toy :S.

There are a few talks about photography which is not that useful (they just show pictures they shot and describe about it nia), and some exhibitions of their shots. And of course there must be booths that promote their Canon cameras.

And there is Farenheit who came to promote Canon's camera... Erm.. well I'm not a fan of them and I am not willing to squeeze inside their hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee crowd of fans, equipped with high pitch cheers... So no pics of them :P

Eventually I'm waiting for the model fashion show which is after Farenheit's apperance.

Sorry for the long disappear.... Been busy studying for my finals exam.. and today is the last day. Felt so relieved and weird at the same time. Felt a bit lost for I am not sure what scope of engineer I will be going to do.

But as for now... I will rest and relax, and keep posting some of my noob shots from my 400D. Stay tune...

At last something from Nokia that gives me a "So Damn Nice" impression

I used to be a Nokia die-hard fan.. love their features and user friendly interface. But I found out that... Nokia's design is getting bored and look like its for old folks to use. LOL

But when I saw this news in GSMArena, I was really shocked! WAH!!! wtf... Nokia at last put some effort on their design.

Let me present you Nokia 6600 Fold:

Nokia 6600 Fold is a 3G phone and it supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well. It uses Nokia Symbian series 40 user interface and supports microSD up to 4GB.

The Nokia 6600 Fold offers a one-click electromagnetic opening mechanism with dampened hinge for smooth motion. It also comes with glossy surface just like Sony Ericsson's Z610... I always drool for glossy surfaces XD.

The Nokia 6600 fold has a QVGA 2.13-inch 16M color OLED display and a 2 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash. Woot!! As usual Nokia satisfy my needs with a superb display with 16 Million colors!!

Wow... thats something unusual.. but until I get to play the phone on the spot.. I will still doubt its sensitivity.

Next is the Nokia 6600 Slide (hurm... Nokia is coming out models with same number but just differentiate them by adding Slides, Fold huh?)

The Nokia 6600 slide is operating on Series 40 user interface and has a whooping QVGA 2.2-inch 16M color TFT display. A 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera is found on it and it records video at VGA resolution, 15fps (in 3GP format).

It also has FM radios and dedicated music keys. It is a quad band phone and supports UMTS video calls as well.

Nokia 6600 Slides features the double tap function just like the Nokia 6600 Fold.

The last one is Nokia 3600 Slide:

The difference is that the 3600 Slide does not have the double tap function and it is only a quad band phone. That means video call will not be available on this phone.

However 3600 Slides is the 1st Nokia phone to feature Background Noise Cancellation for superior sound quality. This function is common on Samsung and Motorola phones but this is the 1st for Nokia.

bwahahah.... after a long time thinking and planning... at last i got my 1st dslr... da Canon 400D!!!
hehee..... went up to sungei wang with 3 other friends...2 of them, hao and kimfei got a Canon 450d (drooling....), while me and jian got Canon 400D

really syok.. fattien came along to bring us around and survey for the price... 1st time meeting him.. very friendly and nice fella... too bad he had to go back for work after that

Later, hungwei came to sungei wang for fashion show... but before that he stop by at the shop to meet up with us... Went for Teh tarik session after that... and there is when we all kisiao by molesting our own dslr... muahahah... and got some tips and tricks by hungwei.

For the time being... I'll be so busy... busy playing with my new toy hahaha.... Will update some pics asap... till then..

Freaking busy and frustrated

Last week's my midterm break, but I used all my holiday time to do my assignment. And I can't even make it to run. For god sake's, what kind of question is that... I almost got my head exploded.

Luckily, the last minute "someone" give me some help, making my life feels so much better. Next week will be another tough week, if I manage to finish part of my FYP, I'll think of rewarding myself with something good and expensive... hehe

Mahathir's son - Mukhriz causing a big fuss

Well... well... Mahathir (our Malaysia's ex Prime Minister) lovely son - Mukhriz Mohathir causes a big fuss few days ago. He wrote a letter to current PM Abdullah Badawi and ask him to step down from being Prime Minister after the big loss at the 12th Malaysia Election.

When I first saw this... it looks familiar to me. And then suddenly I remembered, his dad, did the same thing to our first PM Tunku Abdul Rahman. Haha what a coincidence!

It makes me wonder... what is he doing this for? To gain fame within the Malaysians? But before that, I am sure... he will be getting some great punishments... might be expelled from UMNO as well.. but... everyone have to bear the consequences of the actions that they made. Below is his leng jai face.

This election surely causes a "tsunami" in Malaysia, let it be political or economical. The drop of 130 points in KLCI, Mikhriz's letter, Penang UMNO stupid actions for halting mega projects, 2 appointed to be Perlis's MB, Lim Kit Siang boycotting swearing ceremony of MB Perak... Woot...

I am waiting to see what else will happen.... :)

All these happen when DAP (the opposition) won the seats in Penang and become the state government. Then... what happens next is State Umno liaison committee secretary Datuk Azhar Ibrahim had told a press conference on Thursday that the state Umno would “persuade” the Federal Government to scrap all the mega projects in the state as “Penangites did not want development.” (taken from TheStar)

Oh now i see... when the BN loses, they can try and boycott everything, stopping those mega projects that will benefit Malaysians and bring a better future for all of us. He even mentioned that they are not avenging for their lost of ALL theirs seats in Penang, its just that people of Penang chose to let the opposition rule.

And WTF is that?? Even kids with tiny little brains know that this is avenging.. toying around with our future??

Dammit... week 7 of my semester... still got 2 more assignments and my freaking FYP dangling around. My idiotic supervisor keeps on change my circuit, ,making me can't finish it on time as i planned. What a moron....

Btw, I am currently so addicted to photography now.. thinking of getting either Canon 350D/400D or Sony A200. Hmm... which 1 is better?? I have no idea... Maybe scout around and test more before I decide. Because if I going to buy 1, it will certainly burn a big hole in my wallet.

Sharp 904sh unlocked!!!

Since Iphone was announced, hackers outside tried so hard to unlock it so that it will be able to use on other networks. Hence PSS sim and Hypersim cameout.

But that is not all... handphone users out there tried hypersim and pss with Sharp 904sh, which before that is unlockable... and it works!!!

All the functions are usable except GPRS and MMS. Well for me those 2 functions does not matter at all!

A new year, a new me with different view

Disappeared for so long dy, don't feel like blogging for the past few months. Just within this few months, so many things happened, all bad news, it just sux big time.

Found out that the person that u trusted most make a fool out of u. Playing u around like an asshole for almost 1 year. It makes me wonder so much, can human kind fall till that low? A friendship that build for so long can be broke and betrayed that easily. And 1 thing for sure, money really matters. U cannot even talk loud when u don't have any cash in your pocket. The old naive me realized that, and decided money is my priority starting that day I knew the truth onwards.

Disappoint me so much... It makes 2007 the worst year of my life. But still life goes on. There is a Chinese saying, "wear specs and understand a person". It is so damn true, and I have to learn more on how to judge people.

Other than my emotion going up and down, many things happened too. Grew interest towards photography, planning to save for a entry DSLR soon. Sold of my W610 that i bought few months ago, and went Singapore the second time to count down. Will post some of the pics when I am free.

Btw, I am training right now. but it really makes me feel i train for nothing. I am just an observer there, going out for tea break, go back home early. I feel I am more worthless than I am in MMU watching series, anime and gaming. LOL!

Next post will be pure photos and only photos. Have to rush my ITP report right now. Ciaoz..~!!

Iphone review

Haha... although I don't own Iphone, but my brother does. So, I have a chance to play with it till I bored. :P

So let me give a quick review about the Iphone.
Basically, when u first hold it and see it, it will give u the "OMG... freaking nice" feel. It is build so solid, the screen is so huge, no wonder it cause such a ruckus when it was first launched.

First is the huge touch screen. Damn!! I would never expect a phone will be equip with such a big touch screen... and is so responsive that you won't feel any lag. It makes me keep on play with it over and over again.

However, when it comes to be used as a phone, it is somehow disappointed. Let me list out a few issues of it.

1st - You can't transfer contacts from sim to phone like you usually do in ANY phone. So you have to key in everything one by one. So, think bout it when u have thousand of contacts.

2nd - No MMS (but doesn't matter to me since I don't use much MMS)

3rd - Bluetooth is only used for receiving calls. You cannot transfer file or sync with computer with bluetooth. (=_=)"

Some of the cons are already fixed by 3rd party application, such as installing ringtones into the Iphone, installing 3rd party application and games.

Next, is the thing I found most useful when using Iphone... That is its wifi paring with Safari browser.

Man... I tried before using pocket pc to online browsing website... it feels very awkward and troublesome. But when using Iphone for surfing website. It is FUN!!!!

You can zoom in and out by using your fingers, change the browser to horizontal by just rotating the phone. Everything is done merely using your fingers. This is the first time I found myself enjoy browsing website over playing games. :D

To tell the truth, for the creator of Ipod, Apple's Iphone really make me =_=" when I listen to the sound quality of the music. Well... the loudspeaker is soft and cracks when the volume is put to maximum. As for the headset music quality, it truly lets me down. The bass is not strong and the treble is somehow doesn't perform well enough.

The only thing that amuse me is the browsing of the albums when u rotate the Iphone to horizontal. You use your fingers to flip through the albums and pick the songs you like.

As for the camera, for a 1st timer of making phone, Apple did a great job. It is very decent when you take pictures under good light condition. It doesn't produce much noise. And browsing through the pictures is fun too. Zoom in and zoom out, flip through pictures with your fingers.

In a nutshell, the Iphone is quite a decent gadget. If you own it, it will let you be the center of attraction. However, it certainly lacks some features and needs some more improvement.

Apple CEO director Steve Job announced the price drop of iphone. 4Gb version to USD 299 and 8Gb version to USD 399... omg.... drop as much as USD 200!!
Those who bought it 1st hand now sure very "kek sim", punching their own chest.

Btw, hackers already successfully unlocked iphone!! That means, it can be used in other area... Malaysia too!!

Proton BWF World Championship

I must say, this is one freaking unexpected game. All the big shots are all kicked out, such as Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei, Tan Boon Hiong and Koo Kien Kiet, Indonesia's Taufik Hidayat, China's Fu Hai Feng and Cai Yun and so on.

Especially Lee Chong Wei... sigh... as a world ranking number 2 men's single player, he should have come up with a good fight when facing Indonesia's Sony Kudawan. But he lost at 21-9 and 21-11.

Well, however i have to admit that Sony's play with China's Lin Dan at the finals is really a tight match, some of the smashes, net shot by Sony is awesome... too bad Lin Dan still overrule him.

As for the mix double, the Indonesia pair really give the audience a nice play, they totally pawn China's mix pair, Zheng Bo and Gao Ling.

However, I didn't manage to watch the men's double play. It should be one exciting game.

Trip To Singapore

It's been a long time since i post something... It's my midterm break, so I've been going here and there, but without pics, because i forgot to bring my digital camera along.

But now I am going to talk bout something i did last semester break. Last semester break I went to Singapore alone to find my brother. Yes alone. A bit odd. But who cares... as long as I am happy with it. Haha.

This is the wealth fountain in Suntec City. It claims that if you walk around the fountain for 1 round... You'll be blessed. Well... I walked round it once, and it just brought me once luck. I won RM250 in Genting Casino last week. Hope the blessing last long enough.

And this is the garden at the top floor of Suntec City (not sure which tower --- Suntec city is consist of 4 towers, and the wealth fountain is situated in the middle of the 4 towers) You can see it in the picture below... although I can't take all the 4 towers, I tried but failed.. -_-"

This is one unique wheel... If I am not mistaken it is near the Raffles City Shopping Complex LR T Station.

And this pineapple looking building is Singapore's Culture and Art Centre, there is some event holding inside but I don't have the chance to take some pics because I am in a rush. Sigh.

Last but not least, If you went to Singapore, how can you don't take some pictures of the statued lion spitting water out of its mouth. lol.

By the way, I am traveling alone because my brother lied to me. He told me he is free to accompany to go around Singapore. But when I bought my train ticket to Singapore, then only he told me his freaking boss gave him work. =_=". So, I have to ventured Singapore myself. Taking LRT and walk all the way under the hot sun, till my legs hurt so much, I am not able to travel for the next day. I went Singapore for 2 days only. So 1 day venture alone, 1 day leg hurt, didn't do much, just watch Ocean 13 which rox so much.

been busy for these few days... preparing myself for my exam, doing my final year project and so on... although next week is gonna be my midterm break, I don't think I'll be able to relax and have fun...

An Egg in my house

Last week, i found a nest build inside my hometown's house... so i take a nice pic of it.. while waiting when would it hatch.. is this a sign or what?

Then few days ago i went back my hometown, and i found it became 2 eggs!!
The bird mum must be really hardworking laying eggs... hope when i go back this week.. it wouldn't turn to 3 eggs.. haha

Btw... if eggs appear... shouldn't there be some special number for me to buy Toto of Magnum??

To Vista or not Vista. That's a question

Hmm.. since Vista is cracked by pirate group Pantheon, I am thinking of changing into Vista, and test the power of Vista myself. But 1 thing is I am quite of a gamer, so I am kinda afraid because of the incompatibility issue. Another thing is ram. My pc is equipped with 1GB ram... so confirm not sufficient for Vista. But the Aero glass effect and so on really attracts me... If any vista user out there got some advice that can persuade me straight format my xp and buy another 1GB ram.. come and persuade me now

A talk by group CEO of TM

Well... I am actually from mmu mlk campus, but my friend asked me to go for the talk by Datuk Abdul Wahid Omar, current CEO of Telekom Malaysia (TM). Since i got nothing to do i drove myself up to cyberjaya campus just now.
Actually i am kinda anticipating the talk... but it turned out quite boring... the exciting part is the Q&A session... I kinda learned something from it... and btw he showed us a list about the annual payment of CEO in different fields. A CEO from investment banking can freaking earn RM 5,300,000 every year!!!!
WAT THE HECK!!!

Maybe they got "makan" a bit... hahaha...
The talk reach another climax when he is giving out a red motorola slvr as a prize.
We are required to answer 5 questions on the slides and sms to his number... too bad i don't know some of it, because i was kinda dozing off. haha

Well... gonna get a new handphone for my birthday
can't decide between w610 and w810
i have already tested both phones in the shop... and i feel like i can't get used to w610's small keypad, although i prefer w610 over w810
haihz... i did i born with big thumbs
if not i can straight go for w610 already

The new mp3 of the year -- Sony NW-E010

Well, this is my first blog, so hope my grammars doesn't make you mad.

I'm going to introduce the Sony NW-E010.

My 1st Sony mp3 player was Sony E00, well it is kinda similar to the new E010, but hell yeah... E010 is equipped with color screen.

It has three different capacities: 1GB, 2GB and 4GB. NW-E010 has a cool 3-lines colour LCD screen that displays album art as well as song information. You can search songs by artist, album, genre or recent transfer. You can also fine tune the music experience with the 5 Band equalizers (Heavy/Pop/Jazz/Unique/Custom) and listen to your favourite radio shows with the built in FM Tuner. The transferring of songs is also simple: you can simply plug the NW-E010 into your PC for direct music transfer with no need for additional cables.

But there is one thing that i don't like is, I have to sync it with Sonic Stage. Because Sonic Stage is kinda not user-friendly, and cannot read Chinese characters as I listen to a lot chinese musics.

However in terms of sound quality, I would it is one of the best in its current price range. Another amusing did by Sony is it's battery life. It takes a mere 1 hour of charging time to get the NW-E010 up and running for another 30 hours.

Wow, ain't that cool??
You must own this device if you are really into mp3, you won't regret it.
